    Only in my wildest dreams.
My buddy went through McChord. He flew Falcons and Stinkbugs. In fact, it was his 117 that was shot down in the Balkans. He had just left the AF, but the squadron deployed before they could repaint the canopy on his plane, so this is his name, but he wasn't flying it:

At Reno one year, they had one flying demos, and their crew gave our crew an after-hours personal tour of the hangared and heavily guarded AC, and I negotiated one of our air racing team shirts for one of these signs from the security team, which is now on my garage wall:

Yea the SF do crazy shit indeed. But thats whats awesome. and appealing to me..idk why..but suffering through shit like that is awesome to me..i mean i didn't wrestle because i loved wrestling..that was a by product. I loved it cause it was freaking hard. miserable. and hard.

if i got that deep in it. You bet id give it my all..torture and all.

    BUT

i know i couldn't do seals. Not a good enough swimmer i think.

Yeah, the one thing about the Seals is they are straight up infantry. That is pretty much all they do and what they specialize in. That is why they get the missions they get. They go out destroy whatever target they were given and are back in time for their next meal. Not that the ODA teams typically aren't nowadays given the current battlefield.

Army ODA teams are infiltration type teams that are trained so they can be self-sufficient. They use support units and such, but they don't necessarily need them. A good ODA team is can be given a mission (these are usually long term missions) in a hostile area and dropped into it and will be capable of setting up a small fire base and living within it for however long they need to to accomplish whatever mission.

Just different teams set to accomplish different missions. I imagine seals are the same, but ODA members can work their way up to CAG teams, which are really badass two man, silent infiltration teams that do some crazy Ghost Recon type shit!
