Im not on my Mac right now..but it looks just like its straight off the camera to me..

 

Deatsch Works 320 LPH. I went with it because Gadget said it is safe for use with alcohol. I try to run non-ethanol premium when I can get it, but sometimes I have to run corn juice 89 and I wanted a pump rated for it. I realized I needed to change it when my truck would only do 105mph. Then 95. It ran fine down low, but the top end was doggy, and if you let off a little it would go faster. I cut apart the factory filter and it was full of sand and tiny metal shavings. Must be from the hand pumps in Mexico, or maybe one time in Belarus when I had to siphon gas out of an old fiat. Meh, runs good now.

 

HAHA im not saying it needs to be.

But like the highlights of the gravel could be toned down to bring out detail.

Some general color changes i think need done too..Mike truck looks super dark..But..can't say for sure being on a Windows system at the moment..

you can do lots with the rear color tones to bring out the mountains in the back ground some more too..

and thats just the beginning haha

Shoulda payed more attention at Mikes haha

I learn something new ever time I use Elements. There are soooooooooooo many things to tweak.

Ben keep working at it. At first glance, there are many things to like about this pic but one thing jumps out at me. That is the color temperature. Now, I'm not looking at in on the best of monitors (laptop) but this pic looks to be a bit "cool". IMO, it needs to be warmer. If the color temp is 5000 kelvin or less in full sunlight, try upping it to 5800-6000.

Does it look a little blueish on your monitor?

 

okay so yea..color is off..Mike explained above..

and yea..its not the subject..but its just a white wash right now..very distracting..toning it down draws your eye away from it..

 

Does look a little on the "cool" side. Temp should be adjusted slightly to the warm side. Not much though

Here is one for comparison. And I agree, the dirt was very light colored and also the sun was at full zeinith which makes it very challenging for the sensor to capture the full range. You have done a great job of drawing out the shadows (the left side of the histogram) but the highlights are still a bit blown out. PS can easily "darken hiighlights" (the right side of the histogram).




This is only meant to be constructive feedback. Please don't feel defensive. I believe, that you are working with a handicap. The computer that you are using in un-calibrated. The pic looks fine on it but not as fine on other monitors.

^nice! I just picked up some of the 40 round Pmags from cabelas, they are awesome. What brand is that?

 

I "built" it so the upper is hardened arms, the lower is tactical machine, and variouse other brands of parts.. right now i have two 42 round pro mags and i cant wait to throw those fuckers away and get some Pmags.. i aslo want to ditch that red dot and get a 4 power scope for now and eventually a hybrid ACOG and a green laser then a surfire for when i want real light.. also need a stock sling.. but in due time..

 

The cool thing about AR's is that as you upgrade parts and pieces, those spares somehow turn into complete rifles. I have one of those 3x9 Leupold mark AR scopes on my coyote rifle and for a sub $300 scope it is fantastic. As far as lights go...it's amazing how good some of the china lights are for the money.

 

yeah that forward grip is a no name 200lum light thing kicks ass for what it is..
