I'm on the verge of packing up and gettn out of here... Having a tough time knowing you guys are so close and gonna have some good times over there!!! May need a heater if we're gonna be RTT'n it... Was 5 degrees here thismorning woof

 

It was 14* here when I came to work at 7:30

 

so safe to say we'd have to deal with a 10* night in the tent then. Doable with the winter bags and a bunch of blankets probs.

i sent you a message but i ended up with a set of 4.88 gears for the front when i was trading stuff i didnt need.. figured a spare set wouldnt hurt so i can sell them to you for much better price if you want.. i figure ARBing the rear and then selling them for like $2,000 which is a great deal to get two arb's 4.88 gears and it's all set up ready to go.

Thanks guys! Didnt go out last night, saving myself for Sat night

Ive been lurking here and there. Wish it was snowing so i could get out and play! But its just been very cold. Hopefully get out this weekend while the sun is shining.

 

Was -10 near pinedale last night. Crashed there for a couple hours waiting for day light. Glad I did too. Some great views in wyo to get here.

 

Its been -10 ~ -15 every night this week. But clear blue skies!

My wife's laptop is pretty much dead and she likes the lightweight ultrabooks, plus the tablet part of it might appeal to her and it runs windows instead of Android OS.

It has a 250GB SSD in it as well as a decent haswell laptop cpu.

I'm torn between getting her that or this

Yea Pindale and Jackson are prime country for big expensive houses and millionares..haha the "rich" Wyo people live there..they are starting to pop up in Sheridan too.

Depends on what she does with it as a whole..

Just typing and web surfing, the tablet will probably work fine.

But the DVD R on the actual lap top and WAY more storage space, bigger screen, more external routing options and hook ups all for less money..is a no brainier for me.

Mostly just surfing and school homework and such. The speed of an SSD is more beneficial than the large HDD. If I got the non-tablet one I was going to swap in a 256GB SSD anyway. She has got by pretty well with her 64GB SSD for a few years now, but a little more storage would be nice so the bump to 256GB should be fine.

I didn't notice there was no DVD drive on the tablet, but an external one can be had for cheap and she will really only need it for installing software and maybe the occasional movie.

The other thing was the tablet version was rated with like twice the battery life of the other which is a plus to her.

Thanks for looking though. Just curious what you thought. I still can't decide. haha

 

Yu won't even notice much of a difference with speed in this context with the hard drive. I'd take the storage over speed in this case.

And I would wanna haul an external drive around..just me tho.

well actually i wasnt going to start my swap till after the moab run in the spring and it depends on how fast i can get the money up for the full hydro steering and links ill buy my springs last.. so i guess if i havent already started it and you wave 2K in my face ill have to park my taco and pull out the diffs for you.. hell ill even give you the T100 housing and shafts to go with. disclamer backing plates are jacked..

Backing plates the part that holds the brakes on. The ones on your turck are the same ones so you could just swap them.
In all honesty i'd love to just sell everything i have for like $3,300 (spare parts and all) but i doubt anyone will want to go from factoy stock to what i have.

The way it's lookind ill be selling my diffs to one person my MTR's with 2 trips to moab on them and never run on the road old school full size spare to another and then the spare parts will be cluster.. but if you dont end up buying my diffs ill sell you the 4.88 front gears i have.
