    About like JW before the S/C. Haha. He said before the S/C his skinny 36's would bog the motor down bad while crawling and snow wheeling.

    And I just realized that makes Mark extra screwed because JW's 4 bamger puts out more power and torque (even before the S/C), JW has a manual so the 1st gear is much lower, 2nd gen tcase is also geared lower and he has 4.88's to Mark's 4.56's. When JW told me that I'm not sure if he was saying with the 4.7 compound low also engaged or not.

    It was pretty sweet! It is interesting to see the tires kind of stutter like they do when it lugs up something. The video I posted in his and my build threads of him trying to cross that log kind of shows this.

    The amount of diff clearance he has is insane! Just blew my mind the whole time I followed him around!

    I think I am sold on his tires again! With them I can keep my wheels and not have to worry about bead locks really, running a 12.50 tire on an 8" wheel and he said he has about 36,000 miles on them and they still look brand new and he uses them in the lava rocks. My tires have like 12,000 miles on them and the tread is shot...

    Mark has a 29.11:1 crawl ratio right now.
    JW has a 49.48:1 not counting the crawlbox.

    That is almost twice the crawl ratio and he said it would bog down bad on him with his tires...

    With the crawlbox he has a 232.56:1 crawl ratio.

    For refence a factory 1st gen manual (Monte and Ben) have a 35.80:1; a factory 1st gen auto (Cody) has a 26.17:1; a factory 2nd gen (Monte's Dad and Andy) have a 33.70:1; and I have a 44.09:1.

    Neither do I. I had to cut the last one off with a torch it was so mangled up. I want to build the next one out of UHMW but that shit is hard to find locally.

    I also thought about using kevlar/carbon fiber/UHMW laminate to increase rigidity and reduce weight. I still have some leftover material from the uparmor taco project...I'm just out of motivation after working on my wifes duramax all weekend.
