Idaho BS thread in the PNW

I don't know what kind of wheeling you mostly do, but 33's are flat out inadequate for me. I make them work but at the expense of my rig... Hell even my last wheeling trip with JW showed me that all over again. I got stuck because I ran out of clearance up front (he has more lift in the rear but I had more lift up front). When I started to get stuck in the snow I gave it some throttle and just as my tires were started to dig into the solid ground underneath, my skids were sitting on the snow and my tires didn't have enough weight on them anymore. Meanwhile JW ended up in the same boat I did, but when he gave it some throttle and dug down to solid ground, his skids were still a long ways from the snow and he got enough traction to get moving again.

Anyway, I was saying I don't know what all wheeling you do, but last I saw you already had your flares pulled, from there you just have to cut the fenders and you a BFH a little to fit 35's. If you put 12.50's on a 7.5 or 8" wide wheel you can skinny them up pretty good too. JW's 12.50's measure like 10" wide on his 7.5" wide wheels.

 

So, the military is all about life insurance policies. I have a $400,000 policy on me and it only costs me like $25/month. Well when I got married and added my wife into the system, they automatically put a $100,000 policy on her and take another $5 out of my pay check every month.

So that is some filler info on this story I just found out today. One of the guys in my unit was married to this girl for a few years and sometime after we got back from Iraq in 2011, they got a divorce. Well I don't know how long they had been divorced, but long story short, he got a $100,000 out of no where one day!! Turns out his wife had OD'd on drugs at some point and died in September and he had never taken her out of the system so he was still paying her life insurance.

Now before you think that is fishy, stuff like that is very common. Soldiers rarely update their info after a divorce until the get remarried. They just never bother to do it. haha

One awful case, was where a guy had got killed in Iraq and his money ended up all going to his Ex-wife instead of his current wife because he had never swapped them in the system...

It is my specialty. Mathematically, global warming is complete bullshit. I have store rooms full of records to prove it. Politically, it is a beautiful invention, and quite lucrative.

 

No worries man, you wont live long enough to see the full impact of this.

I thought they only had ice core samples or whatever they use back to a certain point. and since that point the carbon levels or whatever have been steadily increasing. I dont really know exactly what im saying. been a while since i saw anything on it

Ice samples are cool. So are core samples from 1000 year old trees, and geological records. The climate changes. We know that. Can humans control it? Maybe a little. Nobody really knows, but it's fun to argue about it!
