Then open a shop you don't need MMI for that. learn as you go. if you haver a service manual you'll be fine.
If you can diagnose electrical issues you'll make some money but
most shops pay flat rate and even if you're good you need to work somewhere that has work year round and lots of it. be prepared to only make up to 15/hr as a career motorcycle mechanic and that's with 5 years exp.

    a word to the wise
Shops are expensive to insure, especially motorcycle/dirtbike/ SxS because there is a TON of liability on your end. every bike you touch has to be gone over with a fine tooth comb to keep your ass out of debt and court.

I worked for factory honda in Temecula, CA. I was tearing down bikes for them inspecting them and telling the engineers what broke and why I think it broke and only making 35k a year. It's one of those jobs where you have to eat sleep and breath bikes to make a decent living.

so what all exactly has been going on? i have been quite occupied over the last few days and i am sure to continue to be very busy for quite some time, so most of my visits will be late at night or at odd hours of the day when i have a speck of downtime.

No not in the shawdows. Hell i have 600 in my paypal account right now..i have only sold 6 parts off the car lol

At this rate, ill be able to get the rear bumper, build the rack, RTT, get a winch, and get a locker and CO2 stuff.

and maybe even a full turbo kit.

yeah i can’t diagnose electrical at all. the honda yamaha dealer we deal with. most the time they are pretty busy year around. they have saturdays set to first cove first serve. other than that if we have to take it in have to schedule it. the other honda or yamaha dealer is like 45 min away. they stay pretty busy with dirt bikes, atvs, SXS, sport bikes, cruisers, scooters, and i think jet skies.

the one i posted? lol. what i hate is people who act like they ride and don’t even own a bike. but act like they are some racer.
i tried to get one at one dealer. but never could talk to the owner. the honda yamaha dealer has had the same people for like 2 years now. a couple people moved around but thats it. other than one newer guy. the other dealer thats closer to my house changes allot! those are the only dealers that are not like 45min or more away.

It's your call but check around and talk to some mechanics BEFORE you go to MMI.
I learned some good information but the other stuff is all bullshit. If you really want to make some money in the industry go to the watercraft side of it.

Very true..TTORA is bad about that..

And not by Moab ha Tim prolly wont have the bumper done by then..but who knows..bed rack will be done for sure by then. RTT im gonna order within the next week or so for sure. I don't think ill have a locker by moab and CO2..well maybe CO2..not the locker tho..idk..we shall see. And definitely won't have it turboed by Moab. thats a mid summer project. I want to make sure i have some more parts for it.
