Here is mine. Black knob, shift it left handed. The cable is made for shifting a boat. I just leave the ADD in the locked position (like having the hubs locked in) all the time, although I did have a switch at some point. Laid flat against the tubing is 2HI, 4HI pictured, and 4LO is one click to the front. Works every time.



Here is how it's hooked up to the shift shaft. There is a collar that goes over the shaft with a set screw, the collar is threaded and the cable screws into the collar. The tower supports the cable. It works well, but it is ugly.

The drivers side wheel pulls when i brake, i can actually see it. So i crawled under the truck and pulled off the drivers side steering boot. I grabbed the drivers side ram and was able to move it up and down. Not good... So i ordered up one from the wrecker, just waiting to hear the amount of kms.


Im guessing it failed do to high kms and sloppy tierods. Also offoading doesnt help either

 

Bigger tires doesn't help that's why I have a complete (from outer tie rod to outer tie rod) rack and pinion as a spare, that I will no longer need in 4 month

and as far as all this Tcase business goes I still say Atlas= cheap aint bad ass and bad ass aint cheap

 

The driveline started making another new noise! Not much left to not make noise so my guess is pinion seal again or u joint for real. Wish I had more time to fix this shit

 

Its probably a u-joint if its making a noise. Have you greased them lately?

I don't think pinion seals make a noise... They just leak. Ask me how I kno.

Otherwise its the carrier(steady) bearing or ujoints

 

hmmm, i thought mine made noise the last time. maybe it was something else making the noise

and i just recently got my oil changed and they were supposed to grease them, i can do it again but im going to assume its been done. might just be time for new ones

oh thats encouraging lol! its under acceleration. actually all of my rear end noises are under acceleration/power. some only in a specific range of speed lol

we should service your diff.. and by that i mean pull out the diff and make sure that non of your used bearings are going out.

ok if i knew i could get the arb for 900 i probably would have ordered it. i was expecting it to run 1200 plus air compressor. the axle job was 700



I replaced that inner axle seal again today. put some grease on the race to check the depth and the seal sits basicially in the middle of the sealing surface, so that should be good. cleaned off the wheel like you said, i guess ill see what happens.

also doing the dif breather mod while im down there
