Idaho BS thread in the PNW

It would be really cool if we could all get together again. We have talked about doing loop thing that includes both the Magruder and the Lolo. Maybe meet up at Graingeville, ID and run the Magruder east. Then go north on 93 from Darby, MT up to Lolo and run that trail west, ending up back around where we started.

That may be a bit ambitions and involves a minimum of 4 trail days. But it certainly would be a blast to do.

 

Was it really so bad?

 

In your Idaho travels, have you run the Magruder Corridor?

 

I hear what you are saying. Probably could plan for one night somewhere between Darby and Lolo for a motel night. That would break it up and also add a day.

Another way to think about it is, folks that couldn't do the whole loop could join up or bow out at Darby.

 

Yup, ~120 miles of, as Ben describes it, where no one can hear you scream.

I too have been to the trailhead. Unfortunately, I was alone at the time and was not prepared to take it on correctly. That is what this trip is about.

 

The corridor has a great history. I am grateful that it is still available to us to explore.

 

Plus they will be nearby to hear you screaming.

 

hoooh god, is it bad that the only break I have during the day is during the blow off lecture class requiring the least amount of attention span?
