I assume you mean off road, there's only a few places i go fast off road, but it'd be nice to have, a local dirt road is so rough that if i go over 20 the back end breaks loose (in a straight line), but i'm not sure how much is my springs and how much is the shocks.

I'm really tempted buy the cheap shocks as that means i'll be able to get my trans serviced over spring break VS at the end of the semester, with some pocket change (maintenance money) left over.
But then again "Buy once, cry once"

Not sure why you'd want the cheap ones over a 5100. They are cheap as it is and work nice

You'd have to call wheelers and ask about the icons. Not enough info.

But no matter what you can't buy a shock right now that will fit your saggy ass leafs now that will work okay with a lift. The bodies with be too long on shocks for lifts and you'll bottom out the shocks and kill them.

What cody meant is you won't notice a difference in shock performance most likely as you aren't going to be able to go fast enough anyways.

I just don't want the billies to leak with 15K miles on them (like my front 5100's)

    OK

Yeah, but i can't rebuild my springs, then cycle my suspension and figure out what length shocks i need for 2-2.5'' of lift, i gotta get my shocks first so i can slap them on when i rebuild my springs.

    Ahhh, OK.

Me too man. But even if I could I would have been there before you anyways. I'm not on break this week. Was last week.

But I'm sure you and the old man are havin a blast. Hard not too with him :p haha

You like the rear shocks on the red head??

Highly doubt the cheap ones last any longer..

2-2.5" is gonna be an 8" shock or 8.5.

But you don't KNOW you'll get exactly 2-2.5". That's the point. That's why you lift it. Measure. Get shocks. You can run stock ones for the 4 days it takes for the new ones to show up

    Yeah i guess.

The 5100's and 5125's on wheelers site say for 0-3'' of lift, with the 5125's being a little cheaper, is there a difference in quality?

No they are the same shock. Same valving.

I believe the 5125 is actuall a touch shorter at 8.02" and the 5100 are at 8.5". I'd have to look it up though.

Custom, 2 chevy leafs with no overload and the toyota main leaf, Doug (4WD) says it'll be more than 1.75'' but less than 3'' of lift.

Nice! That's closer to Preston and Downey as well. Better than having to drive into Logan at least.

Yep! If I lived in Preston and commuted, fuel would only be about $150 and cost of living is a lot cheaper in Preston
