Finally getting a new head shipped in for the bike!!
The weather is soooo nice it eats at my soul when I watch everyone else riding and I can't yet.

Hope that clears up the major issues. Might still have a coolant leak from my thermostat upgrade/instal I will have to figure out. But I can ride with that still I bet. It should ship Monday!

 

I was. But last Aug i moved 30min out of town to a smaller town right next to the border. Turned out that place suck major balls so i moved back.

got the doors off, and drove around with out em for a bit. god damn that was about the most fun ive ever had driving on the road in that thing. So awesome lol!!

If I can find a second set of hinges and the latch mechanisms off a set of doors (i think I know where to find some too)

that might be my next project!

It was sooo god damn nice. Having your feet hang out, it was a perfect day. It will be awesome for driving and spotting. I can just lean out and see where my tires are at and when they are going to climb.

 

It may happen soon for me... After hearing from you and then how nice it was outside today, makes me want some bad!

This may just have to be my next buy... Haha

Plus, can't happen until I get out of the dorms. Not going to carry my doors to the third floor...

 

oh. but then you cant stick your leg out on the slider or rest it on the door hinge and fender

Just easier for me to buy them. No welder and no way to cut the metal.

Fabwork can be fun, but not everybody feels the need to build everything. I don't at least, so for now I'll just continue to buy parts instead.

Some day I'll have a garage with the equipment I need to build stuff as simple as tube doors, but for now I'm comfortable with just buying them.

 

I will continue to mooch off of my friend's tools and work space until i can buy tools of my own. At this rate im learning how to do everything and fucking up the first round...so when i have my own tools i will already have a head start

 

by then you won't need the tools to make the stuff if you keep buying it..be pointless to get the tools unless your gonna use them a lot.
