Here, I'm friends with a guy that has a garage, grinder, and torque wrench....

I did just recently talk to a Jeep guy that has a bunch of tools including a welder. Just have to get to know the guy a little more before I start asking to use his stuff haha

He said being the first to build a drift car from scratch, not using an existing car frame. clearly he's not the first to build a tube frame car... but a competing drift car maybe? How is the suspension set up wrong? not defending him at all just trying to understand the beef with him haha.

 

Yea, I could see a problem with his roll center being below pave level... I did learn some things when we setup my dads track car but I wasnt versed well since it wasnt a big interest at that point in my life. I dont know how you would go about setting up a drift car but maybe their CoG to RCH ratio is goofy because of how they drive them...?

 

yea drift cars aren't like a car that corners on rails ben..its the exact opposite pretty much. You want it to break traction. Hell back in the day guys would weld the rear diffs and pretty much make the suspension like rocks.

Its not the same thing..i think his setup is quite good really.

I was at andy's today...while we were discussing what needs to be bought for operation make truck not a pile of shit, and he was playing with his camera taking pics of his 4 year old hanging on me. and get this, i dont look like a derp in most of em. Go figure right?!
