Konsta, Mark and I did both high dive and white knuckle without a strap. Rocky did high dive without one and white knuckle with. Ben bypassed high dive and was winched down white knuckle. Mike bypassed high dive and did white knuckle strapless.

In Moab this year I pushed my rig hard and beat the hell out of it. It was tricky keeping pace with Konsta and Rocky. I just sit too low to the ground and my uptravel doesn't help that in some cases. I don't lift tire real easy though so that's a plus as long as I can keep my armor off the rocks.

 

Yep! I'll do much better once I get on 37's but I have to finish school and find a job before I can fund that project. Haha

 

Sliders are sweet for us short guys. I hit my sliders a lot in situations like that and they make it almost impossible to roll in those cases.

 

Hey guys, finally have a confirmed plan for wheeling tomorrow in case anybody else wants to join in. As of right now, it is just Will (penguin_cc) and me. We are meeting at the intersection of Albin Hill Road (NF 2030) and highway 20 at 10 am. I will check here later today, but if you want to go, send me a PM, and I'll send you my phone number. To get to the meeting spot, go into WA, and head north up division street until it dumps you onto 395. Follow that all the way to Colville, then take the turn to go west on highway 20.

 

Jake (Jeverich on here) has a shop in Bellingham and has made sliders for several people. I am getting some from him about September when he is back from fishing in Alaska.

 

I will have to get my camera charged. There is a group of us really tackling the trails in this area in August. Look up the Lost Corner Exploration in the forum.

The hardest part of getting things from Jake is timing. Seems like he is gone a lot, whether wheeling across the country or fishing in Alaska.

 

If you want challenging I would say try the stuff we did last year and this year. Metal masher and cliff hanger and strike ravine will give you a good challenge.

I almost tried to break my truck, I wheeled everything konsta and rocky did, tired every single hard obstacle, beat the fuck out of sluggo for 6 day. An I couldn't even get one single bit of damage except for rocky. I don't get it.

For me idaho is more damaging to my rig than Moab. Idaho is SWB friendly And Moab is certainly where long wheel base has the advantage.

At this point even the trails we did this year were pretty easy. So next year in hopefully going to trailer my shit down and tackle rusty nail and Pritchett, at that point what the fuck else is there but helldorado haha? And I'll donate the rest of my time to helping trail boss and spot for other groups on trails since I know there was a complaint of a lack of experience this year on some of the runs

 

Hopefully what's more exaggerated?
I was with the same group most of the week so I didn't participate in much of the other runs.

I ran 7 mile the last day. Tippy dome is literally nothing and the fact we made it even seem like a significant thing the first year dissapoints me.

I did wipeout hill, the right line going up was cake, but I'm pissed the left line kicked my ass. I was tryin to double climb and it kept sliding me in the same line and I was just roasting tires.

I need a front locker now. I got help back in a couple of places because of it

 

I think that was just kind of exaggerated at this point. There was only really that one incident with Jason in the crack, that wasn't too big of a deal in Moab at the end of the day but has been blown up now on here...

 

Yeah, sort of. They started it but he sure didn't handle it very well... I'm guessing he won't be coming next year at this rate...
