Well, the dude stops making payments and the bank writes it off to their insurance as a loss and the title gets branded. Technically the bank owns it, and it is effectively "stolen". I used to be a tow truck driver. Once a month we had auctions for recovered cars, and most of them were purchased by sheisty dudes who would flip them for profit without disclosing any title history. The buyer sees a smokin' deal on a nice rig, greed gets the best of them, and they hand over the cash without doing their homework. It's not till they are standing in line at the DMV they find out.... then it's too late.

If you have a cal ranch up there they sell the big mud flaps that you can cut down for about $10 a side or so.

 

No go to napa. Think that's where my dad got his that are bolted to his rear HC bumper.

 

You'll want 1/8" or smaller for that. Might have to order that

 

1/4 for flaps

1/8 for apron.

 

yeah if you guys figure out where to get it from let me know i will also need that shit. though i think i may look into using marine snaps to hold it all into place..

 

They may have been cheaper than that even. I can't remember what they cost, but it was dirt cheap compared to anything I found at autozone or any of those places.

 

personally I don't think $20 bucks is bad for mud flaps at all

Might use pond liner as the apron

 

tomtom used pond liner very recently and said that it's already stretching from what he assumes is the heat.

 

I'll find out tomorrow. I set up a meeting with him after work. Didn't know a repo would cause a title to be branded.

Apartment hunting is tough! My wife and I started with a list of like 20 places and looked at 5 places today and narrowed rhat down to 2 and really can't decide between them...
