I have taco mudflaps chillin my garage haha. I'm guessing they enforce mudflaps pretty hard in Idaho?

 

IDK man, apt living feels claustrophobic to me now. I like my house for the space and the garage.

Its hard to work on your stuff when you live in an apartment.

 

This is my problem exactly! This last year I have had to bug Konsta anytime I want to do most work. I had to bug him just to change my oil...

 

haha ya. it sucks. when we were first looking last month for a 4bd house we looked at at least 10...and none of them worked out. it blows

ideally a house is a real investment. instead of paying monthly for an appt you dont keep, hopefully your mortgage payments go to owning a place that will increase in value. Your money doesent work for you while renting, hopefully you make it "grow" while owning a house.

 

Or at least not lose as much as we do renting. Renting is literally throwing money away compared to buying.

 

I rent and own. My mortgage is 800. My Tennent pays me 1050. My rent is 1395, so in reality is 1145...

 

I do the landlord thing as well. I own a condo that I rent which pays its mortgage and association fees and hopefully continues to increase in value. Can't say I see a net gain tho that I can apply to my house mortage.

Big difference from you is that mine is not in another city. That must be challenging, not being able to to be there if necessary.

 

My in laws live there. And it's currently rented to a friend of mine. so, I don't have to worry too much until he can't rent the place out. Then I get to figure out a new customer.

 

That is huge. Makes a big difference.

buying the right house is a smart investment. Mine has lots of money into it and I won't see the improvements pay off. Stupid Kansas home prices haven't moved at all in 5 years.

 

That's a shame. They have here. I am all the way back to where it was when the bottom fell out back in 2009.

 

I wanted to buy a house here last year, but without Erica getting a job right away, it took all the funds to just survive. Now she's getting a job at 63k a year, and I don't know how many more years. Stupid Boeing and bad time lines.

So I looked at the truck yesterday evening and it's flawless. Reminds me of my last one but green in color. It has the db pro comp 6", but really its only 4" with a 3" body lift. I don't understand why they would advertise it a 6" when really its 4"?

Anyways, there really isn't much love in the forums for db lifts here. I understand the center of gravity and safety issue, but an added inch can't be that extreme over my OME setup. Plus the cv angles are damn near parallel to the ground.

 

Think about inner and outer tie rods...not so much of legs and pussy
