    Zactly. I used to work mid shift and get off work at 3 AM. I got pulled over once or twice a week, for no reason (or some made up BS like that). I never got a ticket, but from their point of view any pickup driving around at 3 am must be up to no good.

    Yeah... I think I might move my license plate to the front bumper and just zip-tie it on for now. But hell, all that other stuff would take huge changes and lots of money that I don't have!     The front license plate thing is the same in WA. I was pulled over in my last car with aftermarket front end, and never drilled holes to put the front plate on. Cop pulled me over because I had squealed my tires a little pulling out into traffic where there wasn't much space and told me a few things, but ultimately let me go.
