Any of you guys know of a good 4x4 shop in Boise?
I need to lift my truck. Since I am in ND and my truck is in Boise I dont have a shop to do it in. My tires are about down to needing replacing so the lift, new rims and tires are going to go on soon.

    255/85R16 KM2's.

If you wheel hard I recommend TSL radials.

If moderately then MTR's or KM2's both perform well.

If almost never I'd get an AT like KO's or something.

Why have a shop install a lift? Make friends with locals and get help from them.

Its a long story, but the quick version. I am living in ND right now, driving a company truck. My rig is in Boise. Everything else is in storage until next year when I move to the Boise area. Until then I need to get stuff done in a shop. The tires I want need a bit of a lift, so to accomplish this I need a good shop which is why I am asking the Boise locals since I am new to the area.

I think Andy would be the only one who could answer that and I haven't seen him post in a while... Mark is the only active Boise member I am aware of and he does all his own work.

There are only 4 active members from Idaho on this forum that I have seen and we are all spread out.

Wait until you are in Boise, then meet up with locals to build your truck. Seems like you won't get any use out of it until you are here, so why rush and pay a bunch of money just to have your truck sit around?

I have a week off every 3 weeks, they fly me back to Boise where I pick it up and go on road/off road trips, etc. I dont care about spending a little extra, I just need to get it done.

So see about meeting up with people on a weekend you are over, and put suspension on with them, not for the sake of saving money, but rather to meet others who also like going wheeling, and turning tools. You also get to say you built your truck up yourself, rather than having had somebody else screw something up.

Unless it's a DB lift or god forbid a 3" bodylift.

body lifts kick ass give you all sorts of room to work around your frame or get to bell housing bolts. oh wait I mean EF body lifts suspension all the way.

    Thanks.
Moderately, mostly to get me back to hunting grounds. I went scouting for goats last weekend and I could have used a bit more tire than what I have. Just trying to get an idea on what to start looking at.
If your running KM2's, looking at what you go through on your build thread, they would suffice just fine for what I need.

Yeah, I was looking at that shit. I am mainly going back on forest service/logging roads, so I should be pretty safe and I can be carefull there. But, some of them do get a bit tricky.

They make a 265/75R16 in the KM2. Anyone know if that would rub?
