Idaho BS thread in the PNW

It just holds the shifts longer (and possibly blocks out overdrive) for towing. It would make a difference for normal driving but you get the same effect just putting the throttle to the floor. haha

 

It does not keep it from shifting into overdrive. We have a separate button for that.

When the ECT is on, all it does is raise the RPM shift points by a couple hundred RPMs. Mine is always on. Ha!

 

exactly, I knew it upped the rpms on shifts, so you only tell a difference if you are getting on it while driving

 

Wait. Getting on it while driving isn't a normal behavior?

 

Last time I ever let my girlfriend try and load the quad into my truck....

Oh shit! My understanding is that you can't replace just one of those. You have to do the whole back window as a unit and it ain't cheap...

Hey all I'm out in Boise for the week for work and am considering blowing tomorrow off. Can anyone recommend a good place for a dayhike in the Boise area? Thanks

 

I'm not in Boise but I have been told that table rock is a good day hike. I haven't been yet though.

i would say screw the day hike and head to mccall.

 

I don't hike much, i MTN bike. How difficult are you looking for? A friend did a trail called stack Rock and he said it was about 9 miles and not a beginner trail.
The foot hills and the ridge to rivers trail system is fun, but it's Stil in the foothills and is brown. There is always the hike to table rock if you want a pretty short trail, maybe 45 min one way? Haven't done it in forever. But you can also drive to table Rock and skip the hike. If you're in boise my vote usually goes for a hike or mtn bike ride up at bogus.

ya it was really hard not to loose my temper,

So far ive seen its all one piece, you can replace the slider but not the right pane. Every glass place wants $700 plus so I found one off ebay for $200 and a guy in town that will install it for $125

 

Thanks. Looking for something moderately difficult. Think I'm just going to hit one of the ranger stations in the National Forest and go from there.

I have seen table Rock mentioned around the interwebz, 45 min is a bit short. I was looking for more like 1/2 the day or more

 

Is this enough cut for 35's or should I do more. Haven't tested yet that's why I'm asking

I go. It's cheap entertainment. I enjoy them quite a bit. There's only like 1 or 2 left this season.
