    Ya, don't buy one. Find a topper on craigslist and build a sleeping platform. The bed tents are an interesting novelty, but in practice it sucks to have to unload all of your stuff. With a platform, bed is always ready and your shit can be stored away underneath.

    I thought about getting a tent bed, but then you have to unload all your shit to set it up, then in order to move you have to take it down and load all your shit back in. With a RTT at least you don't have to unload anything and it sets up/goes down a lot quicker.

    I'd get a topper and build a platform. Or if it's only you you can build storage on one side and a sleeping platform on the other side. Gives you the most headroom that way.

    just put in an atlas and you wont have to rebuild shit.
