$45 for just an inspection should get an oil change they come with one. Just mention the noise and they will look for it for free most good shops will look for a problem for no charge.

 

My boyfriend already changed my oil 2600 miles ago.. Otherwise I would probably do that.

 

I can do noon sunday or anything after that, I cant make noon saturday though, or we can meet up for a beer after 5 during the week. @m3bassman @Speedytech7

 

should do oil changes every 3K but if you boyfriend can change your oil but not a Ujoint what good is he for?

 

I had him put in synthetic, sooo it doesn't really need changed at 3k miles.
Well. My last boyfriend couldn't even change oil or install windshield wipers, so I've stepped up my game some.

Remember synthetic oil doesn't make that filter last longer. This is true you have stepped it up.

 

God Damn it. So why did I put synthetic in.. Lol. I also heard you can't go back once you go synthetic, is that true?

 

What filter did you get? If you got a Toyota filter or any of the better ones (Bosch, kn, Napa gold/wix, purolator gold) you'll be fine for the 5k miles. If you got a fram, swap your filter at 3k and change your oil after another 2k

this vvv mostly oil is cheap motors aren't so i just change it often and don't worry about the cost synthetic is cheap enough. If you want to feel pain start changing the oil on a diesel. The cant go back is a complete and total lie.

Lol. Well I'm from Western Washington, Boise is like the perfect size. I wouldn't mind living out of town a little further though.

The shop couldn't find anything wrong with the truck, they took it for a drive and it wouldn't make the noise (it made the noise after work on my way to the shop though). They said maybe leave it over night so they can drive it when it's cold. They were kind enough not to charge me though.

 

well, I just spent $230 on fluids for my truck. Anybody in Spokane, CDA, Post Falls areas have a heated garage and want me to come over Sunday? I have fluid for both diffs, transfer case, transmission, and engine oil. Got 9 qts for drivetrain stuff, and 5 qts for engine, as well as Amsoil filter. I'm a little scared to run it the full length it calls for though, which is 15k miles or 1 year.

 

is that my invitation to come over, and we can play trucks together? I will bring beer. Hope you like it dark.
