Not sure I've seen your truck yet, I am currently working nights though so most people are gone by the time I am coming in to work. Where did you get your light bar from? I am going to get one eventually, but I am waiting on getting my Prinsu roof rack first. I just had a Flowmaster Super 44 muffler and a new exhaust tip put on. Sounds much better! Haha I also put on my new bed decals, much better looking than the stock decals.

 

Hey Idahoans (no idea if that is correct...), I'll be driving through Boise on my way to Moab at the end of March. Anyone have any good recommendations on a place I could camp overnight? I'm hoping for somewhere free and remote'ish, maybe a national forest or similar? I have a RTT, so anywhere accessible by truck would be awesome.

 

Boise National Forest is just to the east of Boise.

There's a map on here that has all the camp sites...just looking at it quickly it looks like Cottonwood Campground is the closest to Boise for a remote site, but there may be something better depending on your route.

I'll add a State park map link: Dont know how far you want to stray from the interstate- Bruneau and Three Island Crossing area closer to main road but more dessert camping.

I like it! I rotate between days and swings every other week, I'm out at the tower for my job. That bar is a 51" curved 4D from CaliRaised, I love it! Haha

 

Think I actually saw you driving away from base today. Usually I'm in a fresh out of bed haze and just going through the motions, so I've probably driven past you dozens of times lol. I get to go play on the flight line for the occasional IFE/GE. Not flying very late here recently though, I've noticed. Usually nothing more than 15 minutes out of the UCC, but it's something to do lol.

Caliraised is who I was looking at buying from, going to start with the 31" in the front bumper for now. After I get back from my cruise in April, I'm going to start saving for the roof rack and light bar.

 

Holy hell we have been busy in the UCC tonight... haven't stopped moving for the past 4 hours lol feel like I'm in a real ER again! Finally down to one patient and can get back on TW!

Yeah, the ACs are a pain in the ass to find decent roof racks for... Prinsu makes a decent one for the AC though. And he's right down the road in North Utah, so shipping shouldn't be toooooo bad... I need to lay off the spending though until I figure out how much I'm going to bury myself during this upcoming cruise lol.

 

Hahaha I'm always itching to get back on here! Prinsu huh? I don't think I've heard of them, I'll check them out! I'd really like to attach my light bar to that instead of where it is now, I think it would look better! Where's your cruise heading too?

It does look much better with a roof rack IMO. But when it comes to utility, the cosmetic side definitely takes a back seat. It's a pretty sleek looking rack though (pictured below). And one of the only ones I have found made specifically for an access cab (for the 2016 at least).

I am also looking at CBI fabrication for bumpers and skid plates. Only a few hours down the road (saves freight shipping costs) and they make some sweet bumpers.

The cruise is stopping by a couple islands, Nassau is one and the other I can't recall. I'm going with some family for my sister's wedding. Most expensive wedding I have ever attended for sure, haha. But haven't been on a cruise yet, so figured it was worth the cash and experience.

 

I like my Prinsu Rack plus I got Bragging rights for being the first access cab with a prinsu! Or maybe the only ballsy one to let Zack drill holes in my roof

 

Very nice! I am very jealous! I sent him a couple PMs on here to see if he wanted to use my 2016 access cab to see if it would fit but haven't received a response. I figured he has been very busy with the recent group buy he started. I'd be more than happy to let him punch some holes in my roof to get a rack put on! lol

 

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if the 2016 is the same length and contour but who knows
