After I drop the whole transaxle out and have the block tig welded and put back together I'm going to sell it to get a ypta

 

Girlfriend wanted a Chevy cruise for her new car cuz we need to get her a 4 door since we are having a kid. Her mom bought her a Corolla instead. I haven't seen it yet cuz we have to go to Sandpoint to get it but from what i was told "It's a Ugly silver with that stupid body kit, but at least it has a dark interior and a standard." All i took out of that was sweet it's a Corolla S with the 6 speed and sunroof. It only has 26K on it. Best i knocked up your daughter gift ever lol.

 

Here's something for everyone to argue over....

To rotate the spare, or not to rotate.

I say yes, because why pay for a full size spare and not rotate it? That's my simple girl answer.

 

There will always be uneven tire wear. Steering pull.... Premature spider gear wear.... But that's none of my business.

 

Fished at swan falls last Saturday, probably gonna hit cj strike this weekend! But this is probably a bit far from you...

 

I can understand that. So why is it that I spent $200 on a full size spare that will probably never get used?

 

Depends if you have 5 of the same wheel or not.

So you don't lose look like a Corsica driving ass on a donut spare when you blow a tire in town running over a used bic lighter. Assuming you know how to change your own tire.

 

Fair enough. And yeah, I actually do know how to change my tire. I've actually had the guys at Costco ask me how to get my spare down. Hahaha.

 

I wouldn't think any lady that is a member of TW can't change their own tire... I'm glad I can do that and more, thanks to my hubby and father for always teaching me new things!

 

I can do it, but not very efficiently, I have to use a breaker bar and stand on it to loosen the lugs but I can get the job done. Haha.

 

I'd rotate it in then. Rubber degrades with time, so if you leave it sit there for 10 years, get a flat, and swap them, prepare for another flat lol

 

I haven't had to change one on the truck yet but have had to on other vehicles before. I spend a lot of time in the garage with the hubby though as well...

 

When I bought the truck (at 16yrs old) the full size spare hadn't been rotated, it still had the little rubber "hairs" but the rubber was so old I had to replace it.

I asked Costco to rotate it the last time I went in and they refused. Unfortunately I have to rotate through them since I have a warrenty.

 

Sun is what degrades rubber the most so under the bed spares last a long time. My dad had a set of tires on his plow truck for 26 years and never had an issue. So do as you want but I don't stress spares

 

My dad always made sure I knew and understood how to do things and I'm thankful for that. My boyfriend is also really good about teaching me new things!

 

Yea, I just buy 50% tread take offs from a local shop here and swap it every few years since I have the TRD alloys and a steelie spare.

Do they mark the tires or anything? You could always rotate the spare yourself then have them do a full rotation

 

I don't even carry a spare in either of my trucks unless I leave town.
Edit: I have three trucks now fuck a spare...
