Hahahaha i use To be a board instructor for a couple seasons. But college. I'm always down to learn to pizza and french fry. I have to fake ski when I split board so I'm getting there!

I think my resounding answer is heck ya. No idea what I'll do with my other stuff or how to take care of the truck. And I'm on the hunt for work as soon as I'm back in the states, but if I have a place to base out of...dreams commin true!

It was rainy in CDA the other day when we had snow at our house...the roads usually are good though even if it snows.

It was a very brief encounter and I'm pretty sure we'd both been :drunk::rasta: all evening. I think you wandered up to me with a nerf football that you were in the middle of duct-taping glowsticks to.. yahhhh then we played catch for a while and I know you're not my real Dad but it was a fun catch anyway.

So I brought my new to me truck home last night. 06 Dodge Ram 1500. What a fucking hassle this has been and continues to be. I went through the financing and payment process 2 weeks ago, and got a 3 year warranty on it. Part of the stipulation of the warranty was that the truck had to be factory equipment again. It has an AEM air intake that they say has to be put back to the factory air box, then I also had them fixing the radio, which wouldn't turn on, and a squealing noise that would start about 75mph, and replacing tires (Toyo RT 285/70/17). So the first thing they did was get new tires, and they put them on new wheels instead of the steel wheels. Then they replaced the radio, and detailed the truck. They have been dicking me around with the air box that I don't care about. There had been no communication from them until I called in and complained to a manager, then yesterday I got the call to say they would give me the truck and I can schedule time when I am back in town. I said fine, went in and spoke to the manager, and got in writing the things they would do including any repairs needed as a result of the AEM intake and squeal that hadn't been changed. Manager gave the key to a sales guy to bring the truck over, and he said he was going to get it warmed up for me. Cool, so while I signed paperwork, sales guy moved the truck, didn't leave it running, and didn't leave the key in it. So went back in for the key, and the manager is getting ready to leave. He found the guy with the key, I got it, and went out to the truck, start it up, and start adjusting the seat and mirrors. Power mirrors are nice, and dodge put the controls next to window switches. The whole plate that holds the window switches is loose, from a broken tab, and the gas light is on. I turned the truck off, went back inside and was like WTF, the gas light is on and you've had my truck for 2 weeks now. Of course the manager was gone by that point, so I had to complain to a sales guy. He took it out and put $10 into it. On my drive home, I found there were no lights on the control knobs.
This morning in the light, I was looking into it more, and there are signs that a previous owner did the same stuff we all do with Tacomas, lift them, bigger tires, and other mods here and there. I am pretty sure the is a lift, but I don't know dodge suspension well enough to recognize stock from aftermarket. There is no spare tire, no jack, no lug wrench or associated equipment to lower the spare. There are dents in the tailgate I didn't notice before. Going over uneven ground, there is some popping type noises, especially while turning.

Anyway, I'm going back to the dealer Monday morning to talk to them, and see about getting a fifth wheel, and due to all the BS, see if I can get them to throw in some floor mats as it didn't come with those either. Overall, I am not happy with my experience with this place. Consumer Auto Liquidators in airway heights, west of Spokane. I even overpaid all to hell getting this truck. On a happy note, I have a 345 hp v8 hemi.

I'm guessing you didn't take the truck to an independent mechanic before signing papers?
