Yeah the weather hasn't been ideal for a romp in the park. I just thought I'd tell you about it! I have heard that the nampa dog park can have drama though (uneducated owners) so just be aware.

This is currently my only fur child and no she doesn't stink up the house like everyone says. ;P

 

ferrets are cool but they do stink that is for sure.

No actually they don't. Lol. My boyfriend is a natzi about anything smelling and he's been fine with the ferret so far. We keep her bedding washed and litter cleaned daily.

@Tacoma.Gal from personal experience, adopt a pitbull from a shelter. They are some of the happiest dogs you can find, plus when you find the right pitty for your family, he/she will play with the ferret. My 3 pits are rescues from vet clinics, and they all live together happily with cats, goats, and horses. Biggest problems with them are the extremely high energy level, tails that beat your legs to death, and tongues that don't stop with the kisses. Getting toys for them can be troublesome as well, because they are power chewers and go through damn near everything.

 

snowed about 4-5inches here, light and powdery stuff. Neighbors needed plowed out so I just got back from doing that....It was really light stuff so it was fun.

 

@m3bassman wouls you like to meet up somewhere for lunch tomorrow.

 

We decided that we are not going to get a dog until we own a home. "Bully" breeds especially are extremely difficult to own when you are renting, I came across that problem when I had my German Shepherd, nobody will rent to you if A. It's a "dangerous" breed or B. It's over 30 pounds.. We aren't allowed to have any cats/dogs in this current house, but the hot tub makes up for that, at least for now!

 

Anyone got a place in Boise that i can crash at friday night? Going to be driving from Colorado Springs, CO and wanna stop in Boise before the final stretch to Lewiston. Would be friday night around 1am hopefully

I understand. I was already renting when I got my first. The trick is to find a house for rent, private owner renting, and you can get by easier. When you can though, get the pitty. My biggest problem with mine now (3 boys) is that they are bed dogs. It's kinda like bed hogs, except they take up more space, and sleep under the covers pressed tight against me.
