Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Last 2 years here were practically dry with so little snow. Remember all the fires 2 summers ago? I'll take excessive snow over wildfires anytime.

 

dont forget dust...last couple years was really bad for dust. This summer should be interesting.

Pocatello broke their record this week for the most snowfall in a season and we still have quite a bit of winter to go. I haven't seen stats on the other cities yet.

 

That's what I've heard. haha

We have the equipment to handle it, we just don't have enough of the equipment for the amount we have gotten so it takes a bit longer to clean everything up. Mostly we have ran out of room to pile snow so they are spending a lot of time hauling it off in dump trucks.

My cousin in Northern Utah drives snow plows and they don't have the equipment/budget to haul off the snow so they started plowing it all into people's yards. haha

I'm not complaining too much. I got the day off on Tuesday because we got about 10" of fluffy snow with a lot of wind so they shut down all the highways to the desert because it was drifting back into the roads as fast as they could plow it.

 

I should add it wasn't much of a day off though... I broke the winch on the 4wheeler so after rewiring for and installing a larger winch I was plowing snow from sunrise to sunset.

We still have over a foot sitting in the yard. My driveway feels like I built a massive snow fort because of the size of the walls I made clearing the driveway. They are almost as tall as my car. haha

I even have Korean BBQ jerky Really soft and tender. Bought it at Costco If they don't have any in your neck of the woods Costco, I'll send you some I just gotta find a way to send the Korean BBQ meat without it going bad.

 

Costco is right now next to my house might have to check it out.
