I got a 98 Tacoma from Parker in 99...got rid of it in 2002, Got this 2000 Tacoma little over a year ago now. I like them because they are good in the hills, dirt roads, snow etc..but not big like the full size trucks.

when I bought mine I was going for a full size GMC. It was a little out of my price range, sales guy asked if I could drive a stick. Pulled it into the shop and I loved it. It goes anywhere I ask it to. my 1993 4runner is the same way. the 90's toyota's are nice, basic, but nice! If I had to buy a new truck, I think I may go with a full size. in the time being my mid-sized beauty will do just fine! :)

Thank you! The parking lot by the resort is 100% under water. The dike road by NIC is just about giving up! its a good thing they re-did it! (2 or 3 years ago)

Now that you mention it, yeah, I would think they would have seen this coming. It's been around 40* to 50* for at least 2 weeks or more. right now its beautiful out side, and I am in the garage adjusting and tinkering with the taco... Garage closed!! I think I have lost my mind!:D

I added a small bolt, with a washer and nut. it removed the aprox. 1 1/4" of free play from the pedal. made it feel brand new again! but when driving I can feel the engine in the clutch pedal. So I'm trying to figure out if its starting to ride it. Don't want to grande the already problematic throw out bearing.

Exactly, climbed under the dash last night, and about to go under again. the first round, it was starting to activate the clutch. you could hear the forks starting to move. So that's way to close. took out the washer and now it has 5/8" of play.

Ive seen a car flipped over in the median....dry pavement no traffic/bad weather..., vw bug driving 35-40mph in the left lane in a posted 60mph zone. Saw one truck smash into a freeway light in broad daylight breaking the huge light pole off at the base, People driving reading the daily newspaper....the list goes on and on...
