Idaho BS thread in the PNW

I like it here...for the hunting and fishing

 

Funny story...when I was stationed in TX I still had my Idaho tags on my 98 Tacoma. Some of my friends said they saw me driving by the mall in Abilene one day. That particular day I told them I wasnt anywhere near the mall or that part of town. To my amazement a couple days later I saw the exact same color truck with Idaho plates across the intersection from me. I think we both realized we had Idaho plates and same color Tacomas at the same time...I never did stop to talk to him but did give the Toyota wave. I did end up telling my friends there was another Tacoma in town with Idaho plates. We all laughed about it...

 

That could be seen anywhere in the south from Tx to FL...

 

helps to have a boat...but not necessary.

 

where the river meets a lake is a good spot for small mouth bass...they are fun and good eating

 

within a couple hours is close by, you've got to have something near you

 

are you by the Snake river? lots of different fish in there.

 

I had to look it up...Payette river should have some good fishing too.

 

yeah most the times Ive seen them are 1A plates anywhere else in the country.

 

Hey now! My plate say's 7B... But I now live in koot. and you're right, they do suck. having lived here for a while now, I understand how bad they suck.

 

I havent been to numerous places in Idaho...just too much to look and see. Some places arent interesting unless they have fishing nearby

 

Ok so who on here lives in Twin Falls? I'm trying to find a group that actually goes off reading but the only group that I have found is the wasatch group from Utah.

The Tacoma has developed a new noise... When I let off the gas at certain speeds there is a high pitched squealing coming from the rear of the truck. It seems to only happen during certain points of where I'm at coming out if the throttle. Ideas?

 

This may be a stupid question... Is there zerk fittings for those? My Chilton is sitting about 6' away, I could just look in the book. Lol
