Not sure. The people I originally rehomed him to gave him to the shelter after about a year, he was adopted right away about 8 months ago and just got returned today. He's very toy obsessive and has anxiety (Most Shepherds do) he definitely needs a job and someone willing to spend the time and money to put him to work. He seems/acts dogs agressive, but I don't think Ben ever had an issue with him and his dogs. He's very reactive to new situations.

 

Anyone find that they stop receiving notifications on posts in this thread- seems like I get alerts than they stop so I need to say something stupid like this to get back in the loop.

 

might be a good police dog. Thats one of the qualities they look for, at least thats what one of the handlers was saying on a show.

 

I had that feeling, I believe you get one mail per thread you are following, after that if you do not check them while being logged in, you don’t get any other mails.

 

I adopted my shepherd from the shelter when he was just shy of a year old. His anxiety was extremely bad at that time. He would break out of his kennel and literally broke the hinges off it and bent the gate to where I had to use ratchet straps to close it. He shredded toys, carpet, and anything else he could get his teeth on. He also had a really bad peeing issue where he would pee if you even looked in his direction at times. We had numerous vet trips trying to make sure that everything was ok health wise. He's incredibly intelligent and has learned a lot in the short time I've had him, he'll be 2 in May. Out of all the dogs we've had, it's fair to say I've never had a shadow quite like him. He is literally attached at the hip.

 

What a cutie! Looks like Bravo, did you get him locally? Bravo is a long haired Shepherd from a local breeder. I had to re-home him due to my living situation and not being able to be home with him. He chewed a hole in the drywall at one point.

 

I adopted him from the shelter here in Boise last June. They are amazing dogs but definitely hand fulls starting out, Knox ate anything and everything. And he talks non stop, constantly screaming at you when you don’t pay attention to him haha. Good looking dog!

 

Knox could definitely be a Patchwork Shepherd then since you got him locally. There isn't many breeders around here that breed the longer coats.

While were are on the subject of dogs, anyone know someone with Corgi's? My daughter is doing a full court press for one and after the year it might be a good idea. So I am doing some initial looking into the breed and availability.

I shouldn't have gone skiing today...First run down and caught an edge on the green cat track back to the lift and totally separated my shoulder and broke my collar bone in 3 places

New rack I'm working on for the Colorado zr2. Customer wants a shelf for his coolers and a full size spare mount to fit up to a 37. Next up is a stock location dual battery tray for @austin2009
