Idaho BS thread in the PNW

I don't have an enclosed rack. I have fr/r bumpers, sliders, lift, black rims, ifs skid, and that's about it. That is right where I live though so wouldn't be surprised if we run into each other.

 

Did anyone drive by a military convoy last saturday of 4 humvees?

 

Anyone want to do some wheeling and shooting next weekend?

 

Unfortunately no time. And the weather supposed to be bad. That’s why we changed our camping plans.

Dang this rain made a mess of my afternoon. Was out picking up some road side signs we had out for our business- pulled off the road to the shoulder to hop out and the truck slid like it was on black ice side ways. Both passenger wheels into the first furrow of a freshly plowed farmers field... uggg....lock in the 4 wheel drive, lock the diff ‘ cause I knew i’d be lucky to get out. Wasn’t lucky but this is Idaho and before long had to gents offering tug me to the pavement.

 

First time this thread. Came to Boise for a dog testing event and been here since Friday. Seen a lot of nice trucks here so far, Silver 2nd gen Xtra cab with a rtt on a bad rack and a whip hanging of the tailgaten I82 west bound at 5ish Friday night. There is also this 2nd gen just down the street from where I'm staying off Forest Lake dr (I think that's the name of it). Either of those guys on here? Nice rides either way.

No pics ... I was a wee bit embarrassed as I was stopping traffic with my predicament. I am sure a few folks drove by thinking what kind of jack wagon gets stuck like that

It’s called the Milking Barn- vintage furniture and decor items, that we sell out of our barn on our property. Only open a Friday & Saturday which is why I have sign duty.. We usually have a classic car out for sale when we are open too,

Sounds right up my alley! I'll have to come visit this summer. I love refinishing furniture and finding vintage stuff.

Kind of a random question here. I’m from Oregon and like here, the off-road/exploring scene is pretty big. We had a FB page dedicated to those in need of recovery/stranded. Basically it was an open page where you could post if needed where you were and what the situation was. Do we have any page like that here?
