Heading out Thursday morning.
Currently planning on spending two nights in Missoula, and two nights in Post Falls, with a single night in all other dropped pin towns.
Might skip Bozeman, but we'll see how the weather is.

 

Cool safe travels, just keep an eye out on the passes. Weather here is i n 30's roads are decent/clear out this way

Hey all!
Leaving Zion for a nice getaway next month, flying into GEG. Staying at Fairchild a few days.
Wanting to day trip to CDA and the area. Looking for food and drink recommendations along with things to do, places to see. Will likely be packing our snowshoes to hit some trails.

May venture down to Lewiston too. So anything in between is welcome.

If you are in mood for bbq hit up smokin mikes, at state line close to Cabelas. Mexican isnt the greatest here but there are some decent places--Rancho viejo, Atilanos, Las Chavelas. Capones is pizza/sammich/bar http://caponespub.com/cda-menu/ . Greek- Santorini's. Seafood Anthonys. Italian--typical olive garden also Tomato street. Theres going to be good food near fairchild also. I dont know too much about that area. Breakfast nook is good, Dennys in postfalls is better than one in CDA. Texas roadhouse also good, most every other fast food Around. Ski slopes are open

 

Bout 50 min drive from base to cda

 

Thai Bamboo is good in spokane and CDA, Top China buffet in CDA is decent, theres a Japanese steakhouse FU-Ki in Postfalls supposed to be good, but we've yet to go.

Dolly's cafe, Franks diner, Old European are good breakfast places in spokane

 

I’ve had hit/miss success with DDD. I’ll look them up for the area.

 

Capones in Cda was good, i havent been to others listed in DDD here. The other place in MD was a Mexican place that was really good

 

They have hockey games in Spokane once in a while when the play home games. Spokane Chiefs

@Cuffs @Twizted theres a skate "ribbon" in Spokane that might interest you all. If ice skating outdoors is your thing. Downtown Spokane is kind of glum like most other downtowns apart from that.
