Yeah, I’m aware. 1 caliper is bad though. So, off they both go.

I need to replace my brakes too. I think it's been 45k on the current pads

Hey Fellas! Just went off roading in the owyhees today with my brother (who has a 4 runner). What a blast! Question... I used to ride my dirt bike out at Hemmingway Butte. Is there any decent trails out there that I could take my truck? Trying to find some good beginner to intermediate trails.

Dangit! Any chance you wanna wrench on a 2nd gen for a day? Lol
I follow your adventures on Insta pretty often. Seems like you know what you’re doing. Rather pay you than some random shop.

regardless, since one of the pads wore really fast for whatever reason. The caliper ground into the rotor on the driver side.

I figure since calipers have to be done anyways, might as well upgrade to the 5th gen 4runner brakes. So 5th gen 4runner rotors, calipers, pads, dust shields.. and if already in that far.. let’s throw some stainless extended brake lines in lol

I found a landcruiser shop on IH8MUD in Boise and had my sister call them for a quote. Sounds like close to 1000$ for brakes. Oof

Just enough to look kinda cool.
I might be interested too seeing as you really want to punch a hole in my front fender for that snorkel. I just have to find a day that I'm available.

haha it would be pretty simple... I think, at least that's what I said when I got my winch last week and its still not mounted.

Thanks for the help getting my winch installed and the professional installation of my snorkel @m3bassman. Only issue is I moved my bumper when I tried winching my friends truck... just have to tighten the bumper down more.

Anyone know of any shops that can rebuild a turbo and balance it?

Its nice to see an active Idaho thread on a Toyota forum. I'm new to TW, but not Yotas, Thought I'd say hello to all the locals on here.
