Good to know about DT, I usually get tires from Costco but they've gotten crazy busy lately.

I've taken my truck into Les Schwab here in town twice now and they've charged me $20 each time to 1, remove/fix a nail & 2, fix a hole in both my rear tires. I literally have the wrost luck with tires.

DT has always (as long as I've known) prided themselves on the service after-the-sale. Always stood behind their tires and usually work with you on a price you're both OK with.

You can buy a set in North Carolina and get it fixed in Cali - no questions asked! Love DT!

Ben, which CVT do you run? The Shasta seems like the easiest set up. But my husband thinks we should get the bigger Rainier.

I'm assuming putting a Rainier on a short bed takes some finagling. Is there a resource here (or online) that you reccomend for sizing/configurations?

Not sure why I thought you had a soft shell, I've only seen it about 100 times in pictures :bananadead:

Good idea on the floor layout!

We have a 16' cargo trailer we "glamp" in but we'd like a quick grab n go set up as well.

Turns out the 2018 and 2021 emblem configuration is not the same. Nothing a little JB Weld didn't fix. Thanks for the Grille @TwoInThePink it looks a million times better than the SR5 grille.

Is there a better weekend for everybody? I know there seemed to be some interest in a group run a few months ago.

So looks like October 8-9-10 is the best availability. Is that the consensus?

Hey guys and ladys, I am planning a trip up to McCall to check it out tHe property we inherited from my dad. I'm planning to come through there the week before Christmas. I was hoping to find out what the weather is like around that time of the year. Mainly How much snow do you have on the ground and does it normally snow around that time of the year?

    Thank you for your help.

I live in Cascade just south of McCall. There will be a couple feet of snow on the valley floor. Multiple feet as you start heading up the mountains. There's a very good chance it will snowing.

    Thank you for the information.

if I can make it up there, how bad would it be towing a 5x8 enclosed trailer?

As long as you have good tires it wouldn't be bad. Take it slow, the canyon on the way up would probably be the worst part. Someone ends up in the river every year. Black ice is fairly common due to fog coming off of Cascade lake and Payette River.
