Looking for a shop or individual in the Tacoma Seattle Olympia area too rebuild my Icon 2.5 fronts and 2.0 rears called John Mathews he is swamped right now. I ordered the parts and should be here next week, really trying too avoid the $200+ in shipping too send them back to icon.

That makes sense. If I remember correctly the road from Boise to McCall is windy and has some steep grades. I'm guessing they keep it plowed?

Yes but it's usually when it doesn't need plowed that it's the worst. Looks like a clear dry road but is icy from the fog in the mornings. Some spots get sun sooner than others also. I don't think wind will be an issue. You will climb a few thousand feet out of Boise then lose most of that again and back up into Valley County.

I’m leaving Boise and it looks like someone is having a building sized bonfire, I thought burning man was in the desert.

Thinking real hard about saying f*ck it getting my whole windshield slightly tinted next week at my appointment.

After this summers heat it's really tempting. Thoughts? Is it worth it? (As far as reducing how hot it gets)

Probably cheaper/smarter to buy a quality windshield sun shade, huh? lol

I decided to upgrade to the ceramic tint as well it was only $60 more.

What about the visor tint? Is it worth it? It seems like it wouldn't go any lower than the actual visor, so not sure of the benefit.

Sorry for my ignorance, I haven't had enough experience with tinting. Lol

Well… a stock bronco made it up with a little assistance of rocks and line choice. My open diff, non slider, non skid truck did as well. But the dreaded rock had plans for my rocker panel. My rear door is now permanently affixed closed. So maybe some building is required for tacoma’s to make it. 63430CBE-24C2-4BA9-9D97-577098B18A7F.jpg

Few pictures from today. Good to meet you @Digiratus and @Jensonbt. Fun trail with enough technical lines to keep the driving interesting.
