Took the truck in today for the 15k service. After sitting down to wait I was curious what the manual recommended for that interval.
The most interesting thing on the list was "retorq the propeller shaft bolt", so I asked the service advisor if that had been done when she told me my truck was done and she said, "honestly I don't know what they do back there" said she didn't even know what a propeller shaft was. Hopefully the technicians at Edmark give a few more fucks than the service writers.

I'm disappointed Noel left, he was one of the better advisors. Look for the older white dudes, they have been there a minute and are decent.

I have a question for residents of Idaho. If I moved there with a vehicle that is title as "Salvaged" from California, can I legally registered and insured the vehicle in Idaho? Do I still need to go through "Idaho inspection" when it already passed CA Salvaged Title process?

    Appreciate any input

I've done a mod or two
If it's titled and registered driving in another state you're good. Its only if it was damaged in Idaho and you were registered there when they scrapped the title that you'd have had to have it inspected there. BTW Idaho inspection is a joke, bring them receipts or have a shop vouch that they fixed it and no one will ever look and they'll issue you a rebuilt title.

Yes. Title received as SALVAGED from California already. Registered and road legal here.

Should just need to have the vin inspected when you go to retitle just like any out of state vehicle. Idaho is pretty lax on the requirements long as it’s got all working lights, and at least a seatbelt you should be good. ADA and canyon county had emissions testing but I believe they stopped that this year.

The 98? I miss it often. But I also know that had we rolled at 70mph in it, we'd likely be pushing up daisies.. it's weird to think about.
