I had an awesome experience once I found the right salesman. He got me exactly what I wanted brand new. Was straight up with me and talked me out of buying used because they were nearly as much as one straight off the assembly line. I was considering just buying used instead of waiting for my new one but at the time it was crazy expensive for used. I did go back several times and didn't have great experience with everyone I talked to but I did end up asking for someone I had seen could work miracles and that he did for me.

I've used Edmark in nampa the last couple new Toyota vehicles I've purchased just for this reason.

Anybody local have an opinion on the Peragon tonneau cover? Considering getting one, seems like everyone who has one likes them.

I hate buying something I've never seen in person..

I went with them because of price and had dialogue with Edmark but only had a sport with less features for more money. Ontario and Twinfalls was too spendy.I dealt with a horrible salesman at Peterson and went in a week later and didn’t look for that guy my experience was awesome. Good luck!

I always thought diamondback covers were a little over the top... But this used one is tempting. Especially since I'm planning on having an RTT over the bed eventually.

Anybody have opinions on the Diamondbacks?

I have a friend that has one on his Ram 1500 and he loves it. I've seen him put a large 4-wheeler on top of it with no issues.

Has anybody bought a Tacoma locally (Petersons, Edmark or Steve's/Ontario) in the past few weeks and were they still holding their prices at MSRP? Going to be getting a 23 soon to replace an 18 and am curious if they are still holding to MSRP or if they are dealing at all. Thx,,,

I purchased my '23 in December from Art at Edmark. At that time it was very cut and dry, MSRP or there's the door. With that being said, Art was great to deal with and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a new car.

Weather is getting nice should we start planning a wheeling trip again?

Happened to be browsing marketplace at the right time today. Picked up a Bakflip mx4 for $300, obviously not a diamondback, but for $300 I'll use it until I figure out exactly what I want to do RTT wise.

I hope so! I'm a little worried about losing the rear view mirror functionality, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Hoping it gets us out more on quick trips, the cargo trailer and sxs are great, but it's a lot for 1-2 nights.

Hell I can't see a thing behind our van, you get used to it. Just adjust your driver's mirror to look over the corner of the tailgate and it's a non issue (just shoulder check your lane changes!). When we had the tent setup it worked well for me to not only see behind but also check on the pups. Speaking of, not sure I posted here but...

Milo and Venice got a sister named Znüni. Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain dog mix. She is 7mo and already as big as the other two!

Yup, thankfully my years in the '98 taught me to look over my shoulder before lane changes.

Znuni is so cute! I love seeing your adventures on IG, Utah is on our list of places to explore. Probably throw the tent on the F150 though and take the sxs for that.
