Sounds weird when you say it like that. Hahaha

I've been pretty good. Just doing all that adulting stuff while watching time fly by.

    You?

It's been a couple years, it was well warranted lol

All good then? Sounds like you're still over in IF?

Me? Shit man, some good, some bad but still doing what I do, annoying folks in the Internet and getting out in the hills. Life goes on.

Hope it dumps snow, we love it. Unfortunately after the car accident though, I don't enjoy driving in it anymore..
I need to find a parking lot and get comfortable in it again. I was really comfortable in my 2wd '98 Taco during snowmaggedon, for some reason in my 4wd 3rd gens I'm not as comfortable, maybe because they are 4x the price of the 1st gen? Lmao.

About the same here south of the treasure valley in Kuna. Most of the valley got 2ish inches but I somehow got like 4-6 stacked up on my balcony. I love it so I’m not complaining.
I’ll say it’s all the electronics. I know my mom had fun figuring out why she couldn’t slide her new rav4 around like her 03 sequoia. Abs, traction control, stability control all getting in the way of a fun time.

Ah, thats a beautiful sight! Brings a tear to my eye.

Yep, still in jackson, though not for the winters (as planned) for the next few years. GF and I are living on a sailboat this winter, planning to sail down to the keys and bahamahs, and will hopefully repeat for some years to come.

I keep my truck immaculate in the Spring/Summer/Fall... This winter grime is killing me. I'm so paranoid I'm going to scratch it unnecessarily removing the snow/ice, lol.

I'd like a large heated garage please.

I don't think I'll ever be able to convinve my husband to move closer to town, let alone IN town.. Plus we are sitting on 2.75% interest rate right now, real hard to walk away from that. Being house poor sounds shitty. The real dream is a shouse/barndominium on property.

Anyway, good luck selling! I'm sorry you gotta give up your heated garage =( that sucks.

I'm walking away from it to not be house poor. Would rather live. It's a big blow but I hope to find a way to turn wrenches once the weather warms up in some capacity. I'm hoping a gearhead can buy my house to reap the benefits of such a great garage.

Have you heard of the DIY Auto Repair place thats in Boise now? Obviously paying to go work on stuff is annoying, but sometimes having space and a lift is nice.

I've always thought that would be a fun business to start (short of all the liability). Garage space with tools, lifts, ect. accessible to the public for a fee.

It's just down the street from the house, I've heard of it, but for some reason I don't have interest in it. I would rather bribe a friend for some driveway space, bring my own tools and work in my own environment. I don't need the anxiety of a clock ticking and a bill climbing because I'm getting stumped by something.

Makes sense! It would suck to have something come up and not be able to finish that same day and be stuck with the dilemma of leaving your car there. Didn't even think of that.

Exactly. I want the freedom to walk away if I get cornered and frustrated, if I want to analyze a problem and work out a solution, to be able to just work at an enjoyable pace, after all turning wrenches for me is enjoyable, and I want to keep it that way.
