I've been sneaking in and outta here for the last year ;)

We use the MEPS downtown to process people for the Navy. Sacramento MEPS is closer but our territory layout makes us have to use Boise. I like coming up here though so no big deal making the drive 2-3x/mo

Staying over by the university by Elmer's this time. Any recommendations on restaurants close by? Tried the pizza place, elmers and the shed so far.

Usually rotate between here and by the mall depending on what I can get within the allowed price range.

Im of no use really. I don't eat out much and live on the very west edge of Boise. That said their is the Bitter Creek Brewery on 8th St I believe. Also there is Sockeye Brewing on Cole. I go to sockeye in meridian weekly and really enjoy their meals and drinks. Both have good food and drink. Both serve Poutine too ;)

DO you have car?? IF so there Wasabi sushi place that is good,La Tapatia which is Mexican restaurant. IF you go down town have little bit more money Lock stock and barrel is good steak place. Barabaoca grill is good place but pretty pricey. Most of these are on park center.

If you like little town feel try out Bown's crossing. There is few Restaurants there. One being flat bread pizza.

10 barrel is great(9th and Bannock), as well as Big City Coffee(Front and 15th?), both have amazing food. Yard house is great as well, it's in Meridian tho.

    Hey everyone,

Just moved up to the Boise area about 6 months ago from the bay area (sick of 7 years of commuting). Thought I should formally introduce myself and my 2015 DCLB Taco. I've had her for just about 3 years now, and is now officially a record for the longest I've ever kept a single vehicle in my life. Currently she is serving DD duty for my wife as we turned in her lease just after we moved here. Though I'm now shopping for a new car for her because I miss my truck, and something tells me the 911 isn't going to cut it if this winter is anything like last years.

Hope to meet up with some of you guys in the future, would love to get the truck dirty but haven't found any trails nearby yet. Always open to suggestions though. Posted a few pics over the last couple of years. More mods in the works currently.

I may or may not have seen your thread with all the spots you've been. Got real envious reading through it. Hoping to find somewhere to get off road weekend after next.

Geez. I go into the woods for the weekend & come out to news that a Porsche plowed into crowd of people at Cars & Coffee. @m3bassman I know you frequent Cars & Coffee, were you there?

Yeah it was pretty fucked up. We got the hell out of there fast after it happened. Was nuts.
Little bit of sensationalist journalism there. The driver didn't walk away from the scene. We were shocked no one died from what we saw in the immediate aftermath.
