Idaho BS thread in the PNW

no Utah for me, my family has a long history with that place that we won't get into but its a crazy story good for camp fired with close friends.

 

That would be fun. I was thinking about going down to Moab with you guys but i wont have any armor on by then and i dont really want to bang up the taco just yet. The body is in excellent shape not even a scratch on it. That and i dont really want to show off my inexperience at wheeling with that many people around although i probably wouldnt do too too bad. I'm spent quite a bit of time in the mountains just no like intentional wheeling and such.

 

It's ok Brady I'm a n00b to wheeling too, no better place to learn than the motherland!

 

Yeah. I'm tempted but i'm chicken about banging up the pickup yet. Haha. I've never been to Moab though and it would probably be a lot better to go with you guys than by myself. What are the trails like that you guys plan on hitting? Lots of rocks?

 

there is a wee variety of trails to hit anything from fire roads to trails that the King of hammers trucks would struggle and breakdown on. some of the more capable trucks will hit the harder trails i think we plan on keeping it mild but challenging. Personally I don't care if I get a scratch or bang up the truck.

 

Utah has every outdoor activity I care about, I couldn't give a rats ass about everything else

As long as you go pick up some sliders you will be fine. Most of us us are pretty green in the wheeling scene

Pretty much. Another reason why i liked Malad. It was mostly sheltered by the mountains so there wasnt wind very often but where there was you better find shelter.

 

Still cutting the truck up to make parts fit cause I'm a badass

 

I think I'm the only one who does't care if they break something.

I'm very tempted now. What do you guys think it will cost to have some sliders welded on? I've been eyeing the BAMF sliders with the kickout. My father in law could weld them on if he has time but i dont know if that would be worth 200 miles in fuel.

 

If you buy them from cbi do they charge you to install them?
