    IMG_2117_bb5d00354f4aa24a6269b3cf616b43d255f2ed4d.jpg

Then he had to try it and ended up getting high centered so i tugged him out too :D

    IMG_2121_8df7f47e2b16980ca51f4a0b54315542c8fe5b99.jpg

Then he slipped into the fence and we had to dig one side out so it would drop the truck so it was level.

Once we made it out that it was either try the main route and go up a stupidly steep hill or do the short cut that wasnt packed in. So short cut it was... Mr 37" had to break trail cause thats the rule! He had to go back and forth slowly and slowly pack it down.

By the time we got to the top it was dark

    IMG_2134_b2b00d731f9788ee8176886a1efeea86ec0dfb3f.jpg

Turned out the short cut was locked with a gate and the exit was 100 ft from us. We turned around and went back. Going up those hills was the hardest thing ive ever done. Basically going up hills that you would have to apply brakes when your going down it in the summer. That steep but with 1ft of snow. I couldnt believe I made it out. Even mr 37 had troubles. But we made it out with some excellent driving.

I learned alot of things about wheeling in snow. Airing down is the most important no matter your tire size, 2nd Low gear is the best, slow speeds are best unless you have hills, never use rear locker unless its a hill.

Cbi said they would install them for $80 so it would be just shy of $500 for the sliders and install. Plus about 110 miles in fuel to drive up them.

How hard would it be to spray paint them after they are already weld to the pickup without getting the pickup? Lots of tape and plastic?

The bolt on ones are $100 more although i should be able to install them myself. They will be about $510.

Why would you rather the bolt on instead of weld? Easier to replace or repaint?

bolt on is nice if you ever want to sell them when you're selling the truck but weld on are stronger and you don't have to worry about bolts shearing off or loosening up

also my friend swallowed a tab from his "apple juice" can the other night. im going to lol when it comes out the other end

check out Demello too. They make bolt on sliders.

but there are other vendor that make sliders other then Jerry. Ask Eric(relentless off road) Im sure he can get you a set much cheaper shipped then the CBI ones. You'd have to get them welded on tho or do it yourself.

DB are fugly. and it is dumb to a point to lift too much. Then you COG is way high which is bad if you don't compensate by going wider..which a DB lift doesn't..

Sure, it works. But there are much better ways to go.
