    The power steering pulley in my hyundai starting squeeling like crazy back in december and I thought I was going to have to replace it. Squeeling belts drive me nuts and it was like "hear it 10 blocks away or more loud"

    I took all the belts off to confirm it was the power steering pulley, put them all back on and put them a little tighter and sprayed the hell out of them and the pulleys with silicon lube and it went away completely:)

    Before I reseated and tightened the belted I would barely have to spray it and it would go away but it came back after a minute or 2 of the car running.

    Don't use anything other than water to check if the belt is squeaking. most of the lubricants are petroleum based and will destroy the rubber on the belt and leave you stranded eventually

    That's because you do that gay ricer shit and rev the engine before you turn off the engine. which is bad and will eventually lead to carbon build up inside your cylinder and on the valves due to partially burnt fuel. :cheers:

    I'm at about 18-20 HWY now.. I lost 3-5 mpg but i have E rated tires. I think each wheel and tire tips the scale at 75-85lbs

    Are you sure they are 10 ply e rated? Usually most mt are 8 ply

    I'm pretty sure the silicon lube is specifically for use on rubber. Dont use WD-40 though, that stuff is pretty harsh on rubber.

    You guys want to do some proof reading for me before I submit my English assignment?:D I wrote an instruction manual on how to do the locker mod for the 2nd gens. It's mostly pictures.

    Nevermind.. It's too large to attach...
