Hell yes, How long is the job term for exactly?? I might be going to europe in june/july. My friends planning a trip.

 

Supposedly 2 weeks of hitting up a bunch of european countries, few days here, few days there. I know italy was on the list. nothing concrete yet.

 

... how close is the land of swiss chess to Italy? I gotta refresh my knowledge of european geography

I think my Engineering teacher gets a kick out of watching us argue with each other. He gave us the choice of 40 easy questions or 8 medium questions for our final and wouldn't let us vote on it. He had us debate/argue with each other over why we we should get our way. Which worked out in his favor cuz the class seems pretty split down the middle on the choice.

He's going to tell us next time we have class. I think/hope it will be the 8 problems though. His medium problems are still pretty easy and have partial credit. There is no partial credit on the 40. The half of the class that wanted 8 argued that they were the ones that always come to class (which is true) while the ones that want 40 are the ones that only show up for class when homework is due (like today).

He got pretty mad with us about halfway through the semester cuz out of a class of 40 only 15 or so were showing up. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was 8 questions or a combination of the 8 and 40. haha.

 

I might have my bull bar and roof rack sold. Hopefully anyway. I'm talking with a couple guys on here about them. Shipping will be a pain for both though cuz of their size...

k, so after replacing the power steering belt, if it starts squeaking loudly at full lock its too tight yes?


also, i dont think i needed a new belt. i realized that when i tried tightening it the first time i wan only tightening the adjusting bolt and i didnt loosen the locking bolt on the pully no wonder it wasnt doing anything. oh well, now i have a spare belt.

Yeah you gotta loosen the bracket nut and then loosen the adj nut.

Also the belt should have about 1/4" flex when you push down with a finger

 

you sure i dont tighten it more when it squeaking? its got alot of flex in it, and each time i loosen it it seems like the loud squeaking is happening more, and its starting further away from full lock

 

If your loosening the belt tension and it the squeaking gets louder then tighten it up. There should be very little play in the belt. Just take one finger and push down on it. If you can push down more that a 1/4" its too loose. Just feel the tension of the other belts, they should all be the same.

 

ya i got it. at first i thought you said loosen it...and that didnt make any sense. so i just tightened it more and problem solved

the old belt was pretty cracked, so while it wasn't stretched out it still looked like it was time for a new one.
