Yeah. I think it is interesting how the smoke is pretty clean looking when he is idled up then just goes straight black when he launches.

Tractor pulls are pretty crazy. It's cool how they can hook up multiple engines.

I saw a concept vehicle (online of course) that had 2 engines. It was a Jeep I think. Had on in the front and one in the rear. Front engine ran the front wheels and the rear engine ran the rear wheels. Not sure what advantage that would have though. haha

I'll never forget taking shits in a porta john sitting on the flightline when it was 128 degrees outside. We would take a IR thermometer in with us. I've recored 161 degrees inside. Worst feeling ever. Plus you're covered in gear, exhaust gas blowing everywhere and just pure hell. Funny, when you walk out your nipples get hard because 128 feels like AC! NEVER AGAIN :D

bahahaha. Yeah that was terrible. I had to do a commander's cup in Balad, the week before we came home. I was the (un)lucky one whose name was drawn out of a hat so I had to compete. It involved a 12 miles ruck march in full gear on the flightline.. It was 3 or 4 in the afternoon when we started and the thermometers were reading just about 140 degrees... I thought I was going to kill over. I literally drank gallons of water during those 3 hours I was out there and I was still dehydrated...

IT hit 122* while i lived in PHX that was pretty hot. Conner is right though you get use to it. I moved there in December and thought everyone was nuts when they had jackets on and it was 70 degrees.

The next december I had a jacket on :anonymous:
