I've got two 12's on an mono amp and then four 6x9's on a 4 channel amp. The 12's are set up on a low pass filter and 2 of the 6x9's are running on a high pass filter with the other 2 set for the mid range; and with no speakers running off the head unit I can crank it up all the way and it still sounds great

 

I think you can pretty much count on that happening.

 

Yea having a HPF and LPF is nice my tweeters only do 800hz+ and the 6.5" do 125hz-800 and the subs do 30hz-125.

 

I'm betting it will be different this time.

 

not as good as a headunit upgrade and amping them.

i have two 1000w RMS 10'' subs on LP of about 180hz with main boost at 100hz. My 6x9s are run off the rear channel of my other amp on full range on the amp but i have a HPF set at 125hz on the HU. Then the front channel drives all 4 of my other speakers in series with a HPF on the amp at about 300hz.

i have never turned mine up all the way..to scared too. around 40 is so god damn loud its ridiculous. was parked out front about 250ft from my house and my parents called me to turn it down as it was rattling the kitchen dishes...on the other side of the house I never do that now tho. My ears are too precious.

 

You had it in reverse for some reason.

 

id have the tweeters on like 2k up.

 

2k isn't an option on my HU i can do 800, 1.5k 5k or 12k

just curious, how much extra oh shit money do you guys plan on having?

ALSO, whats the lowest psi you can run while driving on the road at about 40mph

 

probably less than a mile from road to wheeling spot to gas station. so i can run like 18 psi on the road without blowing beads or killing the tire if its just for a mile?

you have an amp for your speakers??

i have done 15psi. My wheelers rims tho have a much bigger lip tho then stock rims. i could do 10 and be fine.

i have done 15 tho on my old stock rims and gone 50ish and was fine.

id be curious tho if jeep rims lips are bigger then the stock toyota rims..
