Doin well. Been trying to figure out what all I want to do for Moab.

My friend Mark (TW= The Raisin) is going to come with but not with his
tacoma. In fact, we will likely be coming in his '07 Tundra, towing my truck on a trailer.

no i def want a lift, but i bet the AALs will help with hauling more then just some adjustable shocks.

 

Yeah you could go with the one coils but im not sure if it can match.with 5100s. Also if you want a bumper eventually you will have to upgrade your ome coils to a stiffer one. An aal will suit you just fine and will help with hauling. You probly will be able to fit 33's but trimming and a good bs wheel will be needed

 

No, he doesn't wheel the Tundra. Around here it just doesn't make sense, those things are big! No, he's alays wanted to go to Moab but his Tacoma isn't ready so he's coming to be our spotter.

Do you have access too a floor jack?

Assuming its a front wheel bearing, lift the wheel off the ground to first see if you hear a crunching noise when you spin the wheel by hand. Also, grab the wheel at the 12 o'clock and 6 o''clock positions and see if you can get it to wiggle.

If it wiggles at all or if you hear it crunching when it spins it is the sign of a bad wheel bearing. These techniques only apply to the front bearings.

 

trimming where specifically. and a bs wheel? the hell does that stand for lol. would it just be better to get 32 and not need to deal with all of the little stuff needed for 33s?

 

You will have to trim the front side inner wheel well. specifically the corner of the bumper area.
Your wheels will have to stick out more so you dont rub on the frame so you would need around 3.5-4" bs

 

Ben I'll check out your wheel bearing when we meet up there is an easy way to check I'll show you.

Another glorious day of skeet shooting. also did some off roading...through some mud. I had some extra time so i just headed down this trail that looked like it went out the right way toward the road. Well after 20 minutes of slow roudh driving down this trail it just ends along this barb wire fence behind someone's country house. Regrettably i turned around to head all the way back when my friend notices a semi clear field next to this guest house on the property that leads to a gravel road then out to the main road. So i go through their back yard/field thing into their driveway in front of the house and haul ass down the gravel drive to get to the main road. it was a great day lol.

 

so we going wheeling friday or saturday or friday into saturday?
