Idaho BS thread in the PNW

So i got another offer from someone to buy my truck today.

 

i was wondering about that lol. it appears that I used all 18 feet going from the front of the bed, into the cab on driver side, under seats to passenger side, under kick pannel and up into dash. I cant really find any spots where there is a bunch of wire coiled up just hanging out, so I dont know where it all went

 

i personally dont see the point in spending more for a new or almost new truck just to beat on it, but i suppose if you got the cash and dont care, go for it! Which one are you thinking of buying? Cant wait to see your mega parts pile build!

I just ran an 18 guage wire and it was a couple inches shy of 11' and that was with extra wire on each end and a little slack in the wire.

 

I dunno, its to an old buddy..I got offered like 6k before, he said he would beat that no problem.

 

Center console to almost back of tail gate. Would need maybe another foot and i could mount it right on top of the tailgate in the corner on the drivers side.

It will enter the cab under the carpet that covers the hump in the back seat and needs 18" from there to connect to the cb.

 

Yea its not a bad deal. Ive debated, I dont need to sell it by anymeans but Ive considered it when looking at newer models.

Biggest deal with it is finding a new vehicle that i can afford while going to school.

 

Well it with my finances, if I sold mine, i would have a decent down payment for something. This summer I will be working non stop so i'll make alot of money but after paying for my schooling I figured I would be around 10k(give or take, counting straight hours and taxes). nthen factoring in pay for rent next year it would be tough.

I dunno what i would want. Prob another tacoma but a DC.

 

unless i upgraded to a white 98

if I upgrade I want a 01-04 Dc i think.

 

Yea. I would like a 2nd gen I think, and keep it for a long time, but I do not want that payment while going to school. Just doesnt seem like a good idea right now.

Actually to be honest, i like what you've done with your front end. Probly the sickest 98 front end ive seen. My mom had a 98 before the frame got recalled so i got use to it. First truck i learned to drive too!
