Just got my alignment fixed at the dealership. The numbers aren't quite as good as Big O's numbers were , but it sure drives better than Big O's alignment did and it was $70 cheaper than Big O's. After Big O's alignment it kind of felt like it was driving on it tip toes, I don't know how else to describe it was almost like the steering was too sensitive. It drives great now though.

Monte, you think i should pop the bed off when i box in the frame? Or do it while i have the BL still on or just do it after the BL is off?

I think it might be easier to do if the BL is still on

You probly forgot to plug something in or attach something. Sounds like your not getting enough air. Blue smoke usually means your burning fuel.

Ive only ever used seafoam in the crankcase. Was always scurred of putting anywhere else

 

seafoam is harmless if used right

 

Id do it without the full bed personally. Would be much easier to get in a better position to weld the top of the frame and such.

Just take the bed off then weld it all up and take off the BL at the same time.

Seafoam smoke is almost always white..

I put it through the manifold and crank case. Seemed to help a bit id think.

 

i noticed my passenger side was sagging..looks like my leaf pack is much flatter on that side

I would say you need to start buying better filters or clean/replace them more often. That is alot of dirt that has gotten past your filter. I have never seen that much dirt on any of my throttlebodies. Just my .02

and i kinda thought it was from that..but i fee like that wouldn't be that big a deal..no different really from coming off a high ledge..

 

Mark, I think you would like the Kokopelli trail. It runs from near the beginning of Top of the World and goes to Grand Junction Colorado. Something like 140 miles long. I would consider that an overland expedition. The small sections that Monte and I did were pretty technical. Not sure if the whole trail is that challenging but if it is, it might take a week to go that far.

I am working on pics now. I'll see what I have for the kokopelli and post them here.
