I want classy honestly i would love an audi wagon or a jetta sportwagon
but with all the snow we get I think a 4runner will suit me well

Brady did you ever figure out your noise?

 

From the last time we went wheelin. The 4 mounting bolts that hold the lower ball joint to the spindle sheared.

The work we did today was to replace the CV and replace all 8 bj mounting bolts as well as a few other odds and ends.

I'm meeting up with Brant tomorrow. We are going to put it on jackstands and he will run the drivers seat and we will see if setting the ebrake will simulate the weight of the vehicle enough to produce the noise, plus this way I will actually be able to crawl under it and listen to stuff closely.

If that doesn't get us anywhere then we are going to just drop the diff and see what we find. Hoping on pinion bearing

 

Just replace it. its what you want to do.
