I think of Jazz like Soccer.

Americans don't like soccer cause of all the skill, agility, power and speed you need to play it. And they don't see how actually very stratigic it actually is. So most ppl don't understand how to watch it and find it boring.

Jazz is like that for music. It takes a TON of skill to play it really well(i know, im a musician and can barely make it by as a jazzer), We are often referred to as the "football team" of the music world since we have to know ALL styles inside and out. It also take a very educated listen to true enjoy it.

Jazz..is FAR from boring..you just have to know music theory and such..not something everyone knows. Oh..and all jazz is not smooth lol I played a tune this year in Big Band that had a driving rock melody followed by a smooth grooving solo section with electronic drums followed by a funk guitar solo followed by a heavy metal bridge lol was epic!

Jazz and Blues are the 2 genres of music that I really don't care for. Just not my thing, but I am more of a scientific mind and just don't really understand music and art... I prefer listening to Rock and Country.

 

What kind of lift are you thinking of for the 4 runner?
