The raisin will be ready I think. The front axle and ball joints have been fixed. The COs have bees sent to DSM for a rebuild. Should be back in a week or so. All that is left is the water pump/timing belt install. Not sure of the status of that yet.

I think end of July is good. Its your call because it was my understanding that you and Ali were planning to do a whole bunch of stuff while you were here.

The 21st and the 28th looks reasonable.

Hmm now i mist research. It would do it different. You would only need the one type of socket and it would fit them all.

You need to test fit them on an 01-04 not your truck. Yours is designed to run 15s..Mikes truck need i think min of like 4 or 3.75'' BS to run 15s..i think..

Yea..well i said there was a wrench didn't i? not a socket. If you made a socket..you could just do the exact same design that is on the end of those wrenches..hell id wouldn't be surprised if that was next.

Maybe. The brake calipers are the issue and I think the caliper is the same.

We've had this discussion. The raisin (a '97) has 15x8 D windowed steelies on it which clear my calipers no problem.

Here's hoping that Ian's will fit the same way.

Those break is the problem, trust me, broke a couple.

Plus you have to have 7 different wrenches for 7 different sizes. Mine is just 1 socket and would theoretically fit no matter what position you put it on.

 

ohhhh..saw something like that before once too..it was a wrench tho that like sorta clamped automatically around the nut. You just squeezed and turned..

good luck making a socket do that! Plus..i don't think it would be a good idea. Cause you'd have to make it cover a range of 18mm to 8mm to be REALLY useful right?

Well..you'd end up with a big ass socket that would not fit were a normal 8mm would..

or are you think like some sort of shrinking wrench..

 

so adam, ben. I was thinking that this winter, I want to get a couple of friends and drive up to CDA for a couple of days to ride schweitzer. Are there any other good resorts on that same level near by that would also be good to go to? Either way I we could come up and hang with you guys, ride with you guys, and or course...drink...lots...of apple juice

Like the socket. Like take a socket wrench, then take your normal socket off, put this one on, and boom never need another one again.
