Suspensions lifts are super easy to install just take some time and planning. I had the fronts pre assembled so all we have to do it yank the stockers and replace them with the OME. and i went with AALs for the rear Dakars seemed to be a little overkill we'll see how the AAL holds up in moab I may replace them after that.

 

Dude yea i just realized you went AAL...dude..your adding a freaking bed/roof rack! You shoulda got the dakars man..haha

 

The roof rack is going to weigh about 80-100lbs unloaded i explained everything to Toytech and this is what they advised 885 front coils and the AAL

 

I'm still skeptical though i may just go ahead and order the dakars and sell the AAL

 

Could keep that AAL too as maybe even you could use it with the Dakars lol

Cause you will also have sliders, and bumpers. Plus come on..the rack loaded is what you should plan for..

I woulda done the Dakars personally. But i guess you can find out.. I have a feeling it'll squat tho

 

Yea i mean I'm already picking out new leaf packs haha and i just got mine. But with my bed/roof rack, sliders, rear wrap around bumper with tire gate(just got this ordered up basically with Tim ) Full size spare and RTT and packed with gear...my 6 packs will be shot haha

 

I'm going to get UCAs before i get the Dakars you have made my mind up i will get the Dakars before moab

 

You don't need UCAs...or do 885s give 3'' of lift??

 

It will be interesting to find out how much lift I gain because I'm a reg cab. I may need to get UCAs and wheel spacers depending on the tires I get. but I'm looking at 285/75-16 Dura-track E rated tires on stock wheels.

Well 285/75s are about 32.8ish i think and 11.4ish wide? maybe a 1'' spacer. My dad has 265/75s. They would look cooler with a 1'' or 1.5'' spacer for sure.

He also has just the toyotech aal with a shell and the toyotech coil overs. Not sure if he has em cranked up all the way but he sits pretty level. You'll really just have to wait and see.

 

Lift is going on next weekend I'm expecting 3" over all another guy got the 886 and got 3.5" after it settled with a bumper and winch I'm glad I went with the 885s

 

Ah okay, then yea you will need UCAs as your a 2nd gen. And you might have bro lean right off the bat..idk how much lift that AAL with give you.

Shit'll buff out that and you'll get it all worked out in the long run. Im pretty sure you'll need leaf packs tho with all the weight you'll be adding.

The AAL should give me 2" over all in the rear and I may have the bro lean I still need to order the 5mm trim spacer I forgot to get that oops... I ordered spider tax wheel spacers for the front as well I may go up to a 295 in the front

 

Why would you get different tire sixes? you can't rotate em properly if ya do that...just saying..

Plus there are like 6 sets of spacers for sale on TW on ttora..for cheap too..

Yea...i betting you'll need new leafs haha be anxious to see how it all turns out!
