HAHAHA, whats funny is that saturday night i got pulled over again. I was even following my friend with a radar detector so i figured i could match speed and if it went off he would slow down. Well it went off and he slowed down, just not fast enough and sure enough the cop pulls out and gets right behind me and flips on the lights. (this would have been my THIRD speeding ticket) he said i was doing 78 in a 65...but after running my info he said i had a good record (not sure how good 2 tickets in a year is but cool) and let me go because he liked my "lifted truck and got bigger tires recently and i swear i was going the speed limit" story. How do i get so un lucky?

Lol, no, I was not drunk. But that thread was moving so fast and I had a lot to reply too so spelling and grammar went by the way side so i could reply quickly.

Thanks captain obvious. All of my friends have lowish fastish imports and all drive like speed racer and yet me, the one that drives the slowest and has the slowest vehicle has the most tickets out of just about everyone i know.

Sorry Mark, apparently your Taco doesn't look slow enough to get away with speeding. You need a little DD beater like my Hyundai. 0-60 in "I can't count that high" FTW!

Then something is wrong with your truck. These things were built to be rockets by any means but I have trouble saying its slow. The only time I would say that is when Im going 70 on a hwy and need to pass a semi, needs a bit of a running start to get to speed.

Ah my mistake, thought u had the v6 like me. Eh f' it. My buddy has a a lifted 90 yota on 35s with a 22re and 5 speed. Its not fast by any means, even with the higher gears. Still a sweet ride, we often joke about trading.

 

I passed Mark going up hill with my roof rack on and I have lower gears haha
